7-17-14 duey stroebel goes “between the lines”

A Repuiblican candidate for the 6th congressional district seat says he would impose term limits on himself if elected.  State representative Duey Stroebel of Cedarburg is one of four Republican candidates squaring off in the August 12th primary for the seat being vacated by retiring Fond du lac congressman, Tom Petri.   On AM 1170 WFDL’s Between the Lines program Stroebel says if he is elected he would serve no more than ten years in Congress. “I’m an outsider, I’m not a career politician,”  Stroebel said.  A campaign finance report filed this week shows Stroebel has raised a little more than $26,000 for the race, but has loaned his campaign more than $340,000.  The winner of the August primary will challenge Democratic Winnebago County Executive Mark Harris in the November general election.
