7-25-14 marquette poll director goes “between the lines”

The director of the Marquette University Law School  poll says the latest numbers show that with the election a little less than four months out the race for governor is a coin flip.  Charles Franklin says for the first time since she announced, Democrat Mary Burke is a point ahead of Governor Walker…but within the margin of error.   Franklin says the biggest news to come out of this new poll is that Burke’s surge last month appears to be solid.  “What I think is really the important message here is that May was also a tie.  In our May poll  it was 46-46% among registered voters and it is still tied among both registered and likely voters this time within the margin of error,”  Franklin told AM 1170’s Between the Lines program.
