Five Fond du Lac police officers are contesting the release of documents regarding an internal investigation involving the officers. The officers have hired former Fond du lac County Distrtict Attorney Dan Kaminsky to represent them . A complaint filed in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court says the internal investigation involved behavior related to off duty personal conduct and involved sensitive interpersonal relationships among officers and other individuals and spouses. The complaint says conduct was not illegal and did not violate any department rule or police and that public release of the information would have severe and negative consequences to the privacy and reputation interests of the current and former officers including embarrassment, harassment and ridicule. The investigation involved officers Rebecca Kohllmann, Joel Gudex, Pamela O’hearn, Curt Beck and Kristen Kachelmeier. During the Investigation all five officers were suspended with pay. Gudex, Kachelmeier and Beck have all resigned.
