The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says the death of a town of Fox Lake man is considered a homicide. Sheriff Pat Ninmann says the body of 48 year old Michael Soeller was discovered Sunday by his landlord in an apartment at the intersection of Highways 33 and 73 . “We are ruling it a homicide. The victim died from loss of blood due to the injuries inflicted by the assailant,” Ninmann told WFDL news. Ninmann says detectives want to talk with a woman who was last seen leaving the victim’s apartment last week Tuesday. “…that we believe was an individual who last had contact with this subject. We don’t believe its a spouse and unknown if its an actual girlfriend or just an acquaintence.” Ninmann says the victim’s landlord reported he had not seen Soeller for several days. She says investigators do not believe this was a random act of violence. The sheriff says none of the other apartment residents reporting hearing or seeing anything unusual.
