8-29-14 campbellsport teen pleads not guilty in attack of sheriff’s deputy

A Campbellsport teenager accused of trying to disarm a sheriff’s deputy has  pleaded not guilty.  Nineteen year old Tanner Gremminger was arraigned in Fond du lac County Circuit Court Thursday on charges of battery to an officer,  disarming a police officer and obstructing.  Gremminger is accused of pointing a taser at sheriff’s deputy Paul Metzger after the deputy was allegedly struck by 22 year old Colton O’Brien of Eden.  Gremminger is also accused of kicking the deputy in the back.  The deputy had responded to a noise complaint.  Gremminger is free after posting a $20,000 cash bond.
