Moraine Park Technical College welcomes Judy Lux of Fond du Lac as their newest district board member. Lux was sworn in at the July 14 board meeting and will serve a three-year term on the board. “I hope to make a positive contribution to the board that allows Moraine Park to continue to serve both the business community and its students,” said Lux. “I believe the educational value Moraine Park offers makes the community a better place to work and live.”   Lux, a respected leader at Mid-States Aluminum Corp. in Fond du Lac, is known for her passion for excellence and enthusiasm to serve. She has been instrumental to the success of many new programs, and over the past 16 years has progressed to her current position as Materials Team Leader. Lux earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and a Masters of Business Administration from University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. She also earned Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Milwaukee School of Engineering. “I believe both my financial and manufacturing background will be a benefit to the college,” Lux commented. “Financially sound leadership is needed for the college to continue to prosper and grow.”  Moraine Park swore in two additional district board members at the July 14 meeting. Lowell Prill of Brandon and Mike Miller of West Bend will each begin another three-year term on the board. Prill has served as an additional member on the board since 2011, and Miller has served as an elected official member since 2008.    The board also recognized Lisa Mader for her contributions and presented her with a Resolution of Appreciation and plaque honoring her for her service. Mader completed four terms as an additional member on the Moraine Park Technical College District Board. She was sworn in to her position on July 8, 2002.     Mader served terms as Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the Moraine Park District Board. She was also Chairperson of the Finance Committee and Treasurer of the District Board. Moraine Park was proud to have Mader represent the college at many national, state and local events. She actively promoted technical and adult education in order to meet the educational and training needs of the community.
