The Waupun school superintendent says she is excited for the start of another school year. Tonya Gubin welcomed back students and staff this week. Gubin says the district will be focusing on curriculum this year…developing common assessments at each grade level and departments at the high school. “Looking at how our students are mastering those core standards,” Gubin told AM 1170 WFDL’s Between the Lines program. The Waupun school district has been piloting an Educator Effectiveness Project over the last couple of years. “Its about teacher growth and teachers getting better at their jobs,” Gubin said.
