The Fond du Lac Fire Department has received a donation from Koch Pipeline Company, L.P. Koch Pipeline donated approximately $50,000 in hazardous material equipment. Fire Chief Pete O’Leary says the equipment will provide a valuable resource to emergency responses. The Department says it will use the equipment not only in the City of Fond du Lac, but in the surrounding counties and even possibly state-wide. The department was recently named a Type 3 Wisconsin Hazardous Materials Response Team which requires them to respond in the city, county, and surrounding counties and provide assistance to other fire departments.
