The 2014 Fond du Lac Area United Way fund drive is officially underway. United Way director Tina Potter says this year’s pacesetters, Brenner Tank and Fives-Giddings and Lewis ,have helped kick-start the campaign toward its $745,000 goal. Potter says going into the campaign the pacesetters have been able to raise nearly $151,000 or 20 percent of the goal. Two organizations served by United Way, Fond du Lac Adult Literacy Services and Habitat for Humanity, highlighted the importance of donating to United Way at a kick off breakfast Thursday.
