The Fond du Lac County Clerk says she is scrambling to make sure poll workers are properly trained for photo ID in the November election. Lisa Freiberg says there are still unanswered questions such as absentee voting. “I’m statutorily doing what I’m supposed to be doing, but the GAB did send an email out stating that municipal clerks are not to be sending out absentee ballots until further notice,” Freiberg told WFDL news. “So, I’m not quite sure what we are supposed to do.” Freiberg says voters should prepare for longer lines at polling places in November. She says the poll worker will compare the photo on the ID with the person standing in front of them.
