As part of National Child Passenger Safety Week, AAA Wisconsin is encouraging parents and caregivers to make sure their children are riding in a safe seat. State AAA spokesman Nick Jarmusz says three out of four car seats today are installed incorrectly. Jarmusz says one of the most frequent car seat mistakes is the positioning of the harness straps. He says the use of booster seats can reduce injuries by 45 percent compared to using an adult safety belt alone.
