Three suspects in a car vandalism spree have made their initial Fond du lac court appearances. Twenty year old Zacharias Manthey, 20 year old Tony Sharratt and 26 year old Traven Koenigs all of Fond du lac are charged with criminal damage to property. They are accused of smashing the windows out of 60 vehicles in Fond du lac earlier this month using baseball bats. Two other suspects, ages 19 and 22 have not been charged. According to a criminal complaint a homeowner’s security camera caught the suspect’s driving a pickup truck and a tip reported to a Fond du Lac High School police officer led to the arrests. Bail was set at $2,500 cash for Sharratt and Manthey and $5,000 for Koenigs. A preliminary hearing for all three men is set for Sept. 26.
