Campbellsport school officials hope to make a final decision on a major building referendum before the end of the year. District administrator Paul Amundson says residents are being asked for their thoughts by participating in a survey on a proposed $35 million middle-high school building plan. Amundson says the district has been studying the issue for over two years. He says the major portion of the plan is replacing the part of the building that was built in the 1930s. Survey results will be announced at the November 4th school board meeting. Amundson says the plan is to go to referendum in April. If approved as currently proposed the owner of a $100,000 home would pay an additional $189 on the school portion of their property tax bill.
