Fond du Lac police are investigating a report of a gun fired in downtown late Sunday night. Police say there were no reports of injuries and investigators did not find any shell casings. The alleged incident was reported shortly before 11pm in the aarea of 6th and Main Streets. A vehicle was spotted a short time later near 5th and Marr Street and the driver fled when an officer approached the vehicle. The car was impounded and police are still looking for the driver.
