MILWAUKEE (AP) — Republicans are questioning a decision to play a song by pop star Chris Brown at a rally for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke.  Burke appeared Monday at Milwaukee’s Wisconsin Center with first lady Michelle Obama.  Brown’s song “Forever” was played while people waited for the two to speak. Republican Party Communications Director Lauren Clark said in a statement Tuesday that the song choice shows a “cavalier attitude toward domestic violence.”  Brown was convicted of felony assault for attacking his then-girlfriend, pop star Rihanna, in 2009.  Burke’s spokesman Joe Zepecki says her campaign provided a CD for use during the event, but the sound company added tracks from its library, including “Forever.”  Zepecki says the campaign wasn’t aware of the additions and no Brown songs will be played in the future.
