A Dodge County judge has denied a request for a change of venue in the trial of a sex offender accused of officiating youth sports and phoning in a rash of bomb threats. Judge Steven Bauer denied the request by the attorney for 32 year old Aaron Schreiber. The Markesan man is accused of phoning in bomb threats to businesses in Waupun, Beaver Dam, Fox Lake and Ripon last November. He is also accused of officiating youth basketball games even though he is a registered sex offender. Schreiber also is charged in Fond du Lac County with five felony counts of a child sex offender working with children.
