MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The leader of a conservative group that pushed for Wisconsin’s gay marriage ban says she’s disappointed the U.S. Supreme Court has refused to consider gay marriage appeals from five states. The justices didn’t comment in rejecting appeals from Indiana, Oklahoma, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. The court’s decision immediately ends delays on marriages in those states. Julaine Appling runs Wisconsin Family Action says sgay marriage completely undoes the institution of marriage and the next step will be legalized polygamy.
