10-16-14 election-fdl county democratic party chair

The chairman of the Fond du Lac County Democratic party says voter turnout will be the key for Democratic candidates in the November election.  Steve Reid says are working hard to make sure  area  residents vote.  “Mid term election voter turnout versus the last two presidential elections what the Democratic party is doing this year is we’ve focused on certain households that we know who the drop-off voters are and we’ve already knocked on two-thirds of the doors in our community, Reid told WFDL news.  “A lot of people don’t realize that the city of Fond du Lac has more Democrats than there are Republicans.  The problem is the Democrats don’t get out to vote so that’s who we’ve been targeting.”  Reid says he is optimistic about Dems chances in the statewide races for governor and attorney general and Winnebago County executive Mark Harris’ bid for the 6th congressional district seat.  Reid says another key will be student voter turnout.
