10-18-14 boy scout food drive

Fond du Lac firefighters are volunteering some of their time Saturday to  help the Salvation Army stock their food pantry.  Its all part of the Fond du Lac Boy Scouts food collection drive.  Scouts are picking up bags of non-perishable food items for distribution to food pantries.  Last year the Salvation Army received an estimated two tons of food.  The Salvation Army says more than 30,000 pounds of food went out the pantry doors in August…more than double from July.
