10-31-14 burke goes “between the lines”

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mary Burke is making a final plea to get voters on her side.  Burke says affordable higher education is a key to creating and filling good paying jobs.  Burke says if she is elected, she would support raising the minimum wage.  Burke says the governor’s divide and conquer strategy has stunted economic growth in Wisconsin.  “We have to make sure that we put aside this divisiveness.   Its not who we are here in the state,”  Burke said.  Burke says last minute allegations that she had been fired from her job when she worked at Trek Bicycle are false.  “These allegations are a complete lie,”  Burke told AM 1170 WFDL’s Between the Lines program.  “You have to consider the source here.  This is fabricated by a Republican operative who was fired from Trek.”
