A Waupun man is in custody following a disturbance involving a group of people. The Dispatch Center received a hang up 911 call Wednesday afternoon and when officers arrived on scene they noticed a vehicle attempting to leave the area. When the officer made contact with this vehicle and occupants he detected the strong order of marijuana. Police say the driver was uncooperative and physically fought with officers attempting to take him into custody. A group of several other friends that were in the area attempted to interfere with the arrest but eventually backed off after being told several times to vacate the area. A 21 year old Waupun male was taken into custody and held in FDL Co. jail on charges of Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest and Obstructing an Officer.
