Several people have been detained for questioning following an incident with a pellet gun. Police were called to 329 South Main Street Thursday afternoon after receiving report that shots may have been fired. Assistant police chief Steve Klein says a portion of South Main between 8th and 9th Streets was blocked off for about an hour. “We received a call from a neighbor that said they saw an individual pointing a gun out the window,” Klein told WFDL news. “First responding officers on the scene found a window across the street that appeared to have been shot out.” Klein says it appears the gun involved was a pellet gun. There were no injuries. He says alcohol appears to be a factor.
