A town of Empire man has been convicted of sexually assaulting a teenage girl. As part of a plea agreement Jeffrey MacMillan pleaded no contest to three counts of second degree sexual assault of a child. Six other counts of sexual assault of a child, exposing a child to harmful materials and administering a dangerous drug and a dozen counts of a felon in possession of a firearm were dismissed and read into the record. Fond du Lac judge Gary Sharpe ordered a pre-sentence investigation. MacMillan was arrested back in January after sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at his home. MacMillan was convicted of sexually assaulting a 13 year old girl in the home.
