2-26-15 school report cards-tests

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Results of tests given to Wisconsin public school students this year would not be used on the state’s report cards and teacher evaluations would be delayed a year under a bill that’s been put forward in the Senate. Republican Senator Paul Farrow is circulating the proposal with a Thursday deadline for co-sponsors. The measure comes after Governor Scott Walker proposed eliminating the Smarter Balanced test after this year. The test is aligned with the Common Core academic standards.
