A 19 year old man who was in the Dodge County Law Enforcement Explorer program has been placed on probation for sending a lewd photo to an underage girl. Dodge County Judge John Storck withheld sentence and placed Seth Lane of Mayville on one year of probation and 30 hours of community service. Judge Storck also ruled that the conviction may be expunged if Lane complies with all terms and conditions of probation. In December, Lane pleaded no contest to a charge of exposing genitals to a child. Lane was a sergeant in the Dodge County Post of the Law Enforcement Explorers, a program for high school and college students ages 14 to 20 that are interested in the field of law enforcement and corrections. Lane was accused of sending a lewd picture by Snapchat, a cell phone app, to a 16 year old girl who was also in the Explorers.
