3-5-15 walker says he will sign right to work on monday

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Scott Walker says he plans to sign a right-to-work bill into law on Monday, not by the end of this week as he had previously said.  Walker made the comment Wednesday during a speech at the annual business day event organized by the state chamber of commerce.  The bill is moving quickly through the Legislature. It passed the Senate last week. The Assembly plans to debate it starting Thursday morning, finishing no later than Friday morning at 9 a.m.  Walker spokeswoman Laurel Patrick said because no one knew exactly when the Assembly will pass the bill, the governor was making plans to sign it Monday.  Walker is headed to Iowa on Saturday for an agriculture summit that’s attracting other potential 2016 presidential candidates.
