Work on a new north entrance at the Fond du Lac city-county government center could begin this month. County executive Al Buechel says the new entrance will make the north entrance handicap accessible and will include an elevator. “What we don’t have is a good access for people with disabilities,” Buechel told WFDL news. “Whether they are wheel chair bound or if they have issues with climbing stairs, its very difficult to get into this building.” The project was initially scheduled to begin April first, but Buechel says it could begin sooner depending on the weather.
