RHINELANDER, Wis. (AP) — Authorities in northern Wisconsin say a 17-year-old girl killed her mother and stepfather and locked her three younger siblings in a room before fleeing to Indiana with a 22-year-old man. Oneida County sheriff’s investigators said Tuesday that 40-year-old Jennifer Ayers was stabbed to death and 37-year-old Thomas Ayers was fatally shot. Their bodies were found at their Rhinelander area home Sunday. Ashlee Martinson is charged with two counts of first-degree intentional homicide and three counts of false imprisonment. A criminal complaint says the oldest of the three younger children, a 9-year-old girl, told detectives Martinson killed the couple and that Martinson put the three girls in a room and tied the door shut. Martinson and the man were later arrested in Boone County, Indiana, where they remained in jail Tuesday.
