3-28-15 slain trooper-funeral

KIEL, Wis. (AP) — Funeral services are scheduled for a Wisconsin state trooper killed in a shootout with a bank robbery suspect.  Trooper Trevor Casper will be remembered at a funeral Sunday at his alma mater, Kiel (keel) High School. The service begins at 5 p.m. and is open to the public.  A private burial will be held Monday at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Kiel.  Governor Scott Walker has ordered flags in Wisconsin lowered to half-staff in Casper’s honor through Tuesday.  The 21-year-old trooper was working his first solo patrol Tuesday when he was killed in a shootout that also left the bank robbery suspect dead. Casper had just graduated from the State Patrol’s academy in December.
