Nobody was seriously injured and one person was arrested after a stand off and hostage situation in Green Lake County, near the Marquette County line. The incident happened Thursday at a farm on State Highway 73. The Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office says a man had fired at least one shot from an assault rifle as two residents of the farm were attempting to leave, and held an elderly woman at gunpoint. After about two hours the 54 year old Wautoma man surrendered without incident. The man is currently being held in the Green Lake County Jail on a charge of false imprisonment. Putzke says the elderly woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The investigation continues.
