4-29-15 baltimore riots-lamb react

The Fond du Lac police chief says regardless of the outcome of the investigation into the death of 25 year old Freddie Gray  there’s no excuse for the riots in Baltimore.  Like most area residents Chief Bill Lamb has been watching the news coverage of the violence.  “I don’t think the word tragic even begins to cover that,”  Lamb told WFDL news.   Lamb says the first step in the process is completing the investigation into  Gray’s death.  “Regardless of what those investigations yield destroying a city, burning of the buildings, attacking people, attacking police officers, that is absolutely not something that can be tolerated in a civilized society.”  A week-long 10pm-5am curfew was imposed following Monday’s riots over the death of Gray. It’ll be enforced by 2,000 National Guard troops and 1,000 police officers. Baltimore’s police commissioner is warning people not to be out unless they’re going to work or have a medical emergency.
