On May 4, 2015 at 3:36 p.m. City of Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue was called for a house on fire at 37 South Reserve Avenue. Upon arrival fire crews reported light smoke coming from the attic. Fire crews found a small fire in the attic and extinguish it with very little damage. They ventilated the attic and provided salvage and overhaul to protect the residents belongings. The fire appears to be caused by a overheated roof exhaust fan. There were no injuries. The Fond du Lac Police Department assisted with traffic control. Alliant Energy was called to the scene to secure the utilities.
