5-5-15 grass fire danger still high in fdl county

Fond du Lac fire officials say an outdoor burning ban remains in place  even with much needed rainfall in the forecast this week.  Fond du Lac Fire department division chief of fire prevention Troy Haase says the fire danger is still high locally.  “We’re not allowing anybody in the city to burn right now,”  Haase told WFDL news.  Haase says a fire last week that scorched five acres in Supple’s Marsh off Highway 45 appears to have started from someone tossing a cigarette out of a vehicle.
