5-5-15 tourism spending-fdl county

The director of the Fond du Lac convention and visitors bureau says he’s pleased to see tourism spending is up locally and statewide.  The state department of tourism says for the first time in four years tourism spending was up last year in every Wisconsin county.  Fond du Lac convention and visitors bureau director Craig Molitor says that’s been the case in Fond du Lac for the last few years.  “We grew from something like $119 million to $123 million in 2014,”  Molitor told WFDL news.   Statewide travelers contributed $18.5 billion to Wisconsin’s economy last year, up 5.5 percent from the year before.
