7-7-15 tornado touchdowns in northeast wisconsin

SHAWANO, Wis. (AP) — A line of tornadoes has moved across northeastern Wisconsin, causing some damage in the rural area.  The National Weather Service in Green Bay says spotters reported four tornado touchdowns in a line stretching about 50 miles Monday evening.  Weather service meteorologist Rich Mamrosh says some home and barn damage was reported, but no deaths or injuries.  Mamrosh says the tornadoes were unusual because they were not associated with lightning.  Sheriff’s offices say crews are surveying damage in Oconto, Shawano and Waupaca counties.  In western Wisconsin, up to 7 inches of rain caused flooding problems in the River Falls area early Monday.
