The Department of Public Works would like to inform the motoring public of the closure of Martin Avenue between East 9th Street and East 11th Street. The closure will be Friday, August 28th and remain closed through Monday, August 31st. The street surface will be ground off and areas of failed street base will be excavated. Manhole castings will be left temporarily higher than the adjacent pavement. Hazards to vehicles will be marked but the street will be open to local traffic only. Parking on the street will not be permitted during the closure.
