10-12-15 friends rally for woman hit by foul ball at brewer game

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A woman who was seriously hurt by a foul ball at a Milwaukee Brewers game this summer is getting some help from her friends.  Laura Turek was hit by a line drive in the ninth inning of a game at Miller Park in early July. Doctors needed 80 stitches and two titanium plates to begin repairing her face. So her friends raised money Saturday to help with her medical bills.  A fundraiser was held for Turek at Milwaukee Harley-Davidson. Her friends said they’re inspired by her strength.  Donations are also being accepted on a website set up for Turek.
