10-10-15 judge taps bradley for supreme court vacancy

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Scott Walker has appointed conservative-backed appellate judge Rebecca Bradley to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.  Walker introduced Bradley at a news conference Friday. The widely expected move, first reported by The Associated Press earlier Friday, will have Bradley finishing the term of late Justice Patrick Crooks.  Even more important, it gives Bradley the advantage of incumbency next year when she runs for a full 10-year term.  It’s the third time Walker has appointed Bradley to a judicial seat. And it will expand conservatives’ grip on the high court to a 5-2 margin.
