10-14-15 stem institute expanding to high school

Fond du Lac school officials hope to be able to expand the STEM Institute to the high school next year.  Superintendent Dr. Jim Sebert says changes to the Charter School contract would allow for adding the 9th grade starting next school year with an additional grade level at a time over the subsequent three years.  “We had a lot of querstions from parents about would there be a high school component?  We’ve worked together with the STEM Institute governance board in order to roll out over the next four years one grade level at a time.”  Sebert told WFDL news.    Sebert says expanding the STEM Institute to the high school gives students more options.
