Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue is partnering with Fond du Lac Firefighters Local 400 in offering Child Identification kits to all students, K-12. The kits are available for all students throughout Fond du Lac County including all homeschooled children. The kit includes a fingerprint card, DNA collection swab and cut-out wallet card. This National Child Identification Program is a community service project that was developed to help law enforcement find the more than 800,000 children who disappear each year in the United States. Parents who have children that are homeschooled will have access to the kits at the South Main Street Fire station during regular business hours.
