2-22-17 fdl county primary election

A challenger is the top vote getter in the race for town of Taycheeda board chair.  Joseph Thome will square off against incumbent board chair Jerry Guelig in the April election.  Thome received 238 votes and Guelig got 107 votes in Tuesday’s primary election.  Six candidates advance to the spring election for three seats on the Ripon School Board.  Amy Pollesch(460), Kim Mack (332), Jennifer Vande Brink Dudzinski (330), Thomas Stellmacher (315), Josh Rieder (273) and Sherry Page Muskavitch (241) advance.  Julieann Nolan and Kay Wege will square off in April for town of Osceola clerk.  Wege received 125 votes and Nolan received 53 votes in Tuesday’s primary election.  Clerk Barb Klumpyan is not seeking re-election.  In Fond du Lac County incumbent state superintendent Tony Evers was the top vote getter by a nearly two to one margin.
