7-27-17 Foxconn Deal Could Bring 3,000-13,000 Jobs to Wisconsin

A major deal is announced that could bring as many as 13,000 jobs to Wisconsin, if the manufacturing giant delivers on its promises.
President Donald Trump, along with Governor Scott Walker, announced yesterday that Foxconn was planning to build a massive, one and a half mile long factory in Racine County.
Foxconn will receive an estimated 3 billion dollars in tax breaks for coming to the state, but only if the factory and jobs come through.
Foxconn has made similar promises in the past.
Just four years ago, the company promised to spend$30 million and create hundreds of jobs in Pennsylvania, only to back out before the completion of the factory.
