Authorities have identified an elderly Mayville man who was killed in a collision with a farm combine in Fond du Lac County. The crash happened shortly before 5pm Wednesday on Highway 151 near Towne Road. The Sheriff’s Office says a preliminary investigation indicates that pick-up truck pulling a trailer with a combine on it, was attempting to cross USH 151 when a southbound vehicle struck the rear of the farm equipment. The driver and lone occupant of the pick-up truck 19-year-old, William Bush of Horicon, was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured. The driver of the southbound vehicle, 78-year-old Lynn Cundy of Mayville, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The passenger in the southbound vehicle, 73-year-old Dorothy McCrory, from Fond du Lac was wearing her seatbelt. She was transported to St. Agnes Hospital by the City of Fond du Lac Ambulance with minor injuries. This is the third fatality on that stretch of Highway 151 this year.
