A Fond du Lac Marian University student says her senior project is about giving a voice to sexual assault survivors and dispelling the myth that they may in some way be to blame. Anna Budelman has assembled a collection of stories from victims of sexual assault that correspond to the clothing they were wearing when they were assaulted. Budelman says her project addresses the myth that the survivor could have prevented the assault if they had only worn something less revealing. Buedelman she got the idea after reading an article in the Huffington Post about a powerful art exhibit on display at the University of Kansas, and later featured at several other schools. An opening reception for her exhibit will be held February 12 at the Todd Wehr Alumni Center at Marian. The exhibit will be on display through February 18.
