The Board of Appeals has denied a request for a zoning change that would have allowed additional signage for a new science building at Fond du lac’s Marian University. Fond du Lac planner JoEllyn Dahlin had recommended denial of the University’s request. Dahlin says most of the buildings on campus do not have wall sign and there are no unique property limitations that justify a zoning exception. She says the building has already been approved for one sign. The more than 18,000 square foot expansion will add more classrooms, offices and labs.
