Central Wisconsin Christian School in Waupun has received a major donation to help move the school closer to starting construction on a multi-million dollar expansion project. Director of Advancement Gregg Zonnefeld told WFDL news the school has received a $250,000 gift. The school announced on its Facebook page Friday that its launching a 21 day challenge to raise the remaining funds necessary to begin construction this spring. The project includes new classroom space at the elementary and middle school wings of the campus along with renovation of the existing space. Zonnefeld says to date about $1.9 million has been raised toward the $3.2 million goal. He says the hope is to start construction in April and have the work done in time for the start of next school year.
