The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office was busy responding to several mostly minor traffic crashes on slippery roads Monday night. Sheriff’s captain Bill Tadych says freezing drizzle resulted in slippery roads throughout the county. “We had that right mixture when the temperature dropped and we had that precipitation in the air and we had ten total weather related incidents,” Tadych told WFDL news. “….seven accidents and three run-offs but nothing major so I think our local drivers are starting to get into the winter driving habit because it could have been much worse.”
