A Fond du Lac man has been ordered to pay restitution to the woman he was convicted of stalking. Fond du lac judge Dale English ordered 32 year old Aaron LeMay pay the victim $1734. Last fall LeMay was placed on probation for two years. A six month jail sentence was imposed and stayed after Lemay entered an Alford Plea to felony stalking. An Alford plea means the defendant does not admit guilt, but acknowledges there is enough evidence for a conviction. One count of second degree sexual assault and one count of fourth degree sexual assault were dismissed and read into the record. According to a criminal complaint Lemay showed up at a motel room where the victim was staying and sexually assaulted her, and also made contact with the victim through the mail and at her Waupun residence.
