Nobody was injured in a dryer fire at a Fond du Lac apartment complex. Firefighters were called to the scene at 27 Fountain Circle Monday afternoon and quickly extinguished the fire but not before it had extended into the wall. Division Chief of Fire Prevention Troy Haase says the fire started in a dryer in the first floor apartment unit. A resident in the apartment was displaced because of smoke damage caused by the fire.
