A doctor at the Waupun prison has tested positive for the coronavirus. Prison warden Brian Foster said in a memo to staff that the Institution is taking the situation very seriously and have implemented a significant cleaning process throughout the institution. Fond du Lac County Public Health Officer Kim Mueller says her office is working with prison officials in an effort to make sure the virus does not spread. Mueller says in addition to staff, the concern is obviously preventing spread among the inmate population.
